If you’re looking for a sign to hire Rachel as your doula, let this be it! :) I was referred to her by two friends, and after our first conversation, I immediately understood why they spoke so highly of her. From the very beginning, I felt genuinely supported, cared for, and empowered.
Rachel is the warm, nurturing, wise, motherly presence every woman deserves during this season of life. She checked in with me regularly throughout pregnancy (and continued into postpartum), always making me feel seen, heard, and deeply cared for. She also hosted an incredibly informative Spinning Babies class in her home that helped me feel so much more prepared and confident going into labor and birth.
I experienced several complications during my pregnancy, and Rachel was such a steady source of support through all of it. She helped me process information, ask the right questions, and feel confident that I was making informed decisions. She helped us create a thoughtful birth plan for my hospital birth and ultimately helped me achieve the birth experience I had hoped and prayed for.
Beyond being an amazing doula, Rachel is such a joy to be around. She has such a calming and comforting presence, and she is a testament of someone living up to their God-given calling. We cannot say enough wonderful things about her and we feel so blessed that she will forever be part of our family’s story.
