We truly cannot say enough good things about Barbie and the support she gave our family during the birth of our son.
What started as a routine doctor’s appointment unexpectedly turned into being told I would need a C-section that very same day. We called Barbie immediately, and from that moment on, she sprang into action. There ended up being a very long wait before delivery — over 12 hours in the hospital — and Barbie stayed with us through all of it. She brought such a calm, grounding presence to what could have easily been an overwhelming and scary experience. She guided us through every step, advocated for us, checked in constantly, and helped us process everything happening in real time. She kept my husband company when nerves were running high, made sure he could stay by my side, and somehow always seemed to know exactly what we needed in the moment.
Her experience and intuition were invaluable, but beyond that, she is just an incredibly caring human being. We felt genuinely supported, safe, and cared for throughout the entire experience. Not to mention the photos she took are absolutely priceless! Having those images from the moments right after our son came into the world is something we will treasure forever.
Looking back, we truly cannot imagine those hours without her. We are endlessly grateful that she was part of our son’s birth story and our family’s story. She went so far above and beyond for us, and we will be recommending her to everyone we know.
