When I first met Cara I immediately knew she was the one. She made me feel comfortable and calm and excited for labor and delivery! Every class we had with her was super informative and helped build my confidence going into labor. She helped me make informed decisions and was supportive of whatever wishes I had for my birth plan. She came to my house to help me and my husband while I was laboring then transitioned with us to the hospital where I had the most incredible, magical, wonderful birth experience that I had been hoping for. She was calm, supportive, encouraging, and well informed of all our options which again made me feel super confident and comforted going in as a first time mom. My husband and I could not stop talking about how much she did for us during the labor such as suggesting positional changes to help progress, applying counter pressure and massage, helping us communicate with the nurses and OB, and explaining calmly what was happening and what our options were throughout the time we were there. She has also been incredibly helpful postpartum with any questions or concerns I've had. I continue to feel so supported and I am forever grateful that she was our doula. I cannot imagine this experience without her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula!
