From the moment I found out I was expecting, I knew I wanted to pursue a VBAC. Looking back, I truly don’t believe I could have achieved such a positive and empowering birth experience without Teri’s incredible guidance and support.
From the very beginning, she was patient, knowledgeable, and reassuring. She answered every question I had and introduced me to techniques that helped prepare my body for labor, including Spinning Babies and the Miles Circuit. Her support gave me confidence throughout my pregnancy and helped me feel emotionally and physically ready for my VBAC journey.
But the day of delivery is where Teri’s presence became invaluable. Since we don’t have family nearby, having her with us brought such a deep sense of comfort and support. She created the calmest atmosphere with candles, warm compresses, and essential oils helping me stay relaxed, grounded, and focused during labor.
When it was time to push, she coached me through every step, guiding me with breathing and pushing techniques that made such a difference. With her encouragement and support, our baby arrived in less than an hour of pushing. It was truly the empowering VBAC experience I had hoped and prayed for.
Teri also made sure my birth plan was respected and advocated for me throughout the process. She protected those special first moments after birth and ensured I was able to fully enjoy the golden hour with my baby. Her calming energy is contagious, and it was obvious how much the hospital staff respected and appreciated her as well.
As if all of that wasn’t enough, she also captured the most beautiful photos of our baby’s first moments memories we will treasure forever.
Teri will always hold a special place in our hearts. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone hoping for a supportive, empowering, and unforgettable birth experience especially for moms pursuing a VBAC.
