She was extremely organized and timely at our prenatal visits. She was warm and inviting to my partner, despite a language barrier. Glory is very detail-oriented, which was important to me. Her background in education really shines through — she came prepared with props, tools, information sheets, and presentations.
Glory also fielded many of my questions and frustrations prior to birth. I had a very specific idea of the kind of birth I wanted, and Glory supported this throughout, helping me navigate conversations with my medical team and plan accordingly.
Birth: Glory was dialed into my labour as soon as it started a week early. She supported me through texts and phone calls in the early stages, respecting our desire to labour privately as long as possible. When we transferred to the hospital, she arrived quickly and stayed by our side the entire time. My labour was long and grueling, and there were many challenges. Glory prepared me really well for the experience itself and supported me through many stressful moments. Despite my difficult birth, I have no regrets. I am confident my birth went the way it needed to.
Postpartum: We greatly benefited from Glory's post partum visits. She is especially knowledgeable about sleep, but also helped us with pumping, return-to-work plans, cluster feeding, daytime sleep... so many topics! We felt so supported by her visits post partum. They felt essential in helping us navigate everything when we were sleep-deprived and new to having our first baby.
I cannot reccommend her enough!
