I had hoped to go into labor naturally and have a fully unmedicated birth, but I unexpectedly needed to be induced. Because of Chelsey’s education and guidance beforehand, we felt confident and informed as we made decisions along the way. She was never pushy or opinionated, just incredibly supportive and focused on helping us choose what was best for our family.
Labor progressed very quickly, and at one point I truly felt like I couldn’t keep going and was ready to get an epidural. But once Chelsey arrived, everything shifted. She coached me through my breathing, grounded me, and reminded me of a strength I didn’t know I had. I genuinely believe I was only able to deliver unmedicated because of her support. The team you have around you matters so much, and Chelsey played a huge role in helping us achieve our desired birth experience.
After delivery, her support didn’t stop. She helped us navigate the transition into breastfeeding and was there for any newborn questions we had, which made the early days feel so much less overwhelming.
Throughout the entire process, Chelsey was incredibly responsive and attentive. When my labor first started, she guided my husband over text with practical tools and suggestions to support me before she even arrived, and that made a huge difference.
