Alaska was phenomenal and I am so thankful for her support leading up to the birth of our son to the actual labor itself. I had the goal of accomplishing an unmedicated labor and Alaska believed in me and supported me even when the drs did not. Our baby was also OP when we arrived at the hospital which caused labor to slow. Alaska had a plan though to help us get the baby in the right position and pushed us to get it done. When I was ready to give up Alaska provided other recommendations or suggestions to help push things forward. She also coached my husband on how to help. She was steadfast in helping me achieve my goal even when it felt impossible to achieve. I could of not accomplished the birth I dreamed of or planned for without her support, coaching and guidance and for that I am eternally grateful. I highly recommend Alaska and her services to anyone interested in a Doula.
