Working with Liza for the birth of our daughter was everything we hoped for. She pushed me to really examine why I wanted an unmedicated birth and helped shift my mindset, which I genuinely believe played a huge role in having the dream labor and birth I hoped for.
My labor ended up being very fast for a first-time mom — seven hours start to finish, just an hour and a half at the hospital, and ten minutes of pushing. Even with everything moving so quickly, I felt steady and supported the entire time because of the preparation and mindset work Liza helped me build beforehand.
Throughout labor, she had this way of stepping in without needing to be asked — dimming the bright lights as soon as procedures were done, offering counter pressure at exactly the right moments, and making sure we felt safe and grounded in the outcome of our birth before she left the hospital. She also took a few photos on her phone right after our daughter was born, and I truly treasure those images.
