From the moment my husband and I met Heather, we knew we were in the best hands. Even before then, we knew she’d be wonderful, as she was the doula for my best friend and came strongly recommended!
With it being my first birth, I had so many anxieties. She took the time to help us feel prepared, informed, and confident about what to expect. Her guidance and support allowed me to go into labor feeling ready. If you’re on the fence- take the birth class!! So worth it.
During labor, Heather’s calming presence, steady reassurance, and keen understanding of the whole process allowed me to focus on what mattered most - a calm labor. She has an amazing ability to read the room and offer exactly what is needed. We are especially grateful for how seamlessly she worked alongside my midwife, Kristi— it was teamwork to make the dream work!
One moment that really sticks out to me throughout the whole process, was after I delivered and was shaking from all the adrenaline, she brought me food and hand-fed me bits of a PB & J sandwich while I nursed my son. Truly such a nurturing soul.
Looking back, I truly can’t imagine going through this experience without her. We are so thankful for Heather and the role she played in bringing our baby boy into the world.
