Morgan provided thoughtful, well-researched, and empathetic support throughout my second pregnancy and labor. She helped me emotionally (and logically) process my first labor, worked with me to plan out tangible ways to make the second labor experience more positive, and listened attentively and without judgement to all related anxieties and labor concerns.
I hoped to avoid an induction with my second labor, but ended up going past 41 weeks gestation and having one scheduled. She gave me the space to communicate my frustrations and assured me that she would continue to support my desire for limited interventions to all extent possible given the circumstances. I ended up having a precipitous labor--dilating from 5 to 10cm and giving birth in about the span of an hour. Due to the speed of progress (and my initial desire for limited intervention) I had no time for pain medication / epidural, and quite literally grabbed onto Morgan for physical and emotional support through this very painful period. She supported me beautifully through the experience and I am so very grateful for her reassuring words, physical assistance, and effective pushing guidance through that fog of an hour.
I cannot imagine a better support person to work with, particularly during these most vulnerable moments. She has the knowledge, empathy, and experience to make the best of whatever unexpected twists and turns pregnancy and labor can take. I felt safe, supported, and understood through my time working with her and would recommend her to friends and family in a heartbeat.
