Having Natasha as my doula truly changed my entire birth experience. From the beginning, she gave us so much of her time, support, and knowledge, helping us navigate pregnancy with confidence and clarity. She provided thoughtful resources, answered every question we had, and helped us make decisions that felt right for us. I always felt heard, supported, and never alone in the process.
During labor, her calm and steady presence made all the difference. She guided me through contractions, talked me through each moment, and constantly reassured me when things felt overwhelming. She also helped with different positions and techniques that made a huge difference in managing the pain and helping my body work with each contraction. There were times when I felt uneasy, but she always knew exactly what to say to bring me back to a place of calm and trust. She helped me feel safe in my body and confident in what I was doing.
She also made such a huge impact on my husband’s experience - helping him feel confident, involved, and truly part of the process, which meant so much to both of us.
Even though I had an induction and my birth didn’t go exactly as I originally envisioned, it honestly went so well with minimal interventions, and I am so happy with how everything turned out. I truly believe that’s because of her support. She helped us feel informed, empowered, and in control of our experience in a way I didn’t think would be possible in a hospital setting.
I will always be so grateful for her. She played such a meaningful role in one of the most important moments of our lives, and I give so much credit to her for helping make it such a positive, empowering experience.
