Working with Carolynn was the best decision for my labor and delivery. I was so nervous going into this second pregnancy because I was afraid of a large baby and another emergency c section. Carolynn was able to provide me the compassion, knowledge and support that I needed to overcome all those worries. When the day came , I went into labor feeling empowered and ready. Theough each stage of my labor , she gracefully guided me through. Her years of experience showed when I was in active labor and she knew exactly what to say and what to do in order for me to progress. I remember she needed to go to the bathroom in between one of my contractions and I told her she couldn't. We laughed, we endured , we achieved an unmedicated birth with zero complications. I truly could not have done it without Carolynn as my doula.
