Working with Theresa was one of the best decisions we made for both birth and postpartum. This was my second birth with T, so I already felt instantly calmer when baby decided to come a little earlier than expected.
During labor, she brought a calm and grounding presence by making the room an oasis of peace with candles and dimmed lights. Her expertise with, spinning babies technique and the peanut ball allowed my labor to progress easily, relieve pain, and help my labor go faster. She advocated for me with medical staff and helped me get through each contraction and push. She anticipated what I needed before I could even say it and supported both me and my partner.
Postpartum, her support was just as invaluable. Those early weeks with a newborn can feel overwhelming, but she helped us find our footing bringing our baby home with a toddler. T was always there to offer practical guidance, reassurance, and emotional support when we needed it most.
I know how hard it can be to find/choose someone to be with you during labor and postpartum but once you speak with Theresa, you’ll know she’s the perfect person to be your doula. We can’t imagine going through this experience without her and are very grateful.
