Where do I even begin?! Alexis supported our family for over two months after the birth of our first baby girl and I genuinely don't know what we would have done without her.
My husband and I are first-time parents without a lot of baby experience, and without our moms here to guide us. We wanted a postpartum doula not just for the extra hands, but for the education and reassurance we really needed. Alexis delivered on every single level.
She kept our home running from day one. Laundry, dishes, cleaning pump parts and bottles, vacuuming, countertops, trash, and always making sure I had a full water bottle next to me. On the baby side, she helped with burping, changing, and taught us things like how to safely trim a newborn's nails!
What I loved most was how non-judgmental she was. I asked SO many questions about whether I was doing things right and she never once made me feel silly. She also has lactation credentials which was such a huge relief while figuring out nursing. And her product recommendations were so helpful too. I bought my Spectra pump and Tula carrier because of her!
Beyond everything she did, Alexis is just such a great person. So down to earth and relatable and we clicked right away. And my baby girl absolutely adored her. Watching her smile and coo at Alexis was the cutest thing ever. Babies don't lie!
