Annie is a delightful person and was an incredibly supportive presence at and leading up to the birth of our first child.
She came to our pre-meetings prepared with an agenda and helpful question prompts to help us think through our birth plan. She then followed up promptly with a written summary of what we had discussed and lingering questions for us to continue to think about. Thanks to Annie, we went into the birth feeling MUCH more prepared both in terms of what we wanted and what we would do if things did not go according to plan.
At the birth, Annie was calm, cheerful, and comforting. She knew when to jump in with massage or soothing touch, words of encouragement, and breathing techniques but also was comfortable hanging back and letting me and my husband have time just us after our daughter was born.
We can't thank Annie enough for the role she played welcoming our baby girl into the world and would very much recommend her to others!
