In response to the most recent testimonial posted below by Anonymous on my doula match profile: Since this was posted anonymously, I have no way of contacting this alleged client to discuss their grievances, and I suspect they may have posted on the wrong doula's profile. From my perspective, I have never performed in this way. I attend all births that I commit to 100% of the time, except on the rare occasions when birth happens very very fast. In those cases I have always offered extra postpartum support. Over 10 years of glowing reviews should speak for my reputation. I am happy to talk to this person about their experience if they want to approach me. I believe that it is extremely important for people to take responsibility for their mistakes when mistakes are made, but I honestly can't think of who this could be because it does not align with any of my experiences from the past two decades of doing this work.
