I can’t say enough positive things about Raizel as a doula. She was extremely knowledgeable. I did not have a midwife readily available during the pregnancy and I felt very comfortable asking all medical questions to her throughout my pregnancy and even during labor and delivery at the hospital. She also has many resources that can aid in one’s personal situation. Raizel was also very understanding of my specific needs and wishes for the delivery and was a real support to ensure those things happened. When I couldn’t think clearly right after delivery, she ensured that I had delayed cord clamping (part of my birth plan), which wouldn’t have happened had she not said something on my behalf - and at the right time. I highly recommend Raizel - she is kind and professional. Her demeanor during the delivery helped me feel very supported, comfortable, and at-ease during a difficult process.
