Less than a week postpartum, I developed mastitis and was terrified. My baby was struggling to latch, and as a first-time mom, I felt completely lost with breastfeeding. She stepped in calmly and helped me come out of it until I was able to go to urgent care the next day. That moment alone meant everything to me.
Beyond the physical support, she was my emotional support. I could talk openly with her about my fears, anxieties, and uncertainties without judgement.
