We honestly can’t say enough good things about Jessica. She supported us as both our birth and overnight postpartum doula, and I genuinely don’t know how we would’ve gotten through everything without her, especially with twins and everything happening faster than we ever expected.
Once we got home, reality hit...hard. We were still trying to get the nursery fully ready because nothing was done quite on time with the girls arriving early. Jessica stepped in for 2 weeks of overnight support, and it honestly felt like someone handed us our sanity back. We were actually able to sleep, recover, and breathe a little instead of running on pure adrenaline & starbucks
She helped with everything! newborn care, overnight feeds, settling the girls, but also the things you don’t realize you’re drowning in, like finishing the nursery and getting those last little details in place so i could finally let the mental load of it go
My recovery was so much better because of her being there. I felt rested in a way I didn’t think was possible with newborn twins... & a toddler!! I wasn’t just surviving..I actually started to feel like myself again. It made such a difference in how I showed up as a mom and as a wife.
And my husband still brings her up all the time lol He is so proud of how quickly he learned diaper changes from her. Like, competitively proud. He’s now constantly trying to beat his “record time,” and I swear diaper duty turned into his new sport. He went from scared to fully excited & confident, and he thanks her for that.
Jessica was truly one of the biggest blessings in our birthing and postpartum experience. She didn’t just help us through birth and recovery. she saved us! she helped our whole family start off on solid ground. we are forever grateful and praise her support!! definitely a huge benefit to have her!
