They were available for all of our pregnancy and birth prep questions, and a vital support in the birthing process. When I went into early labor, Ari was available by phone to support my desire to labor at home as long as possible, ready to join us at home or the hospital whenever I was. When we got to the hospital Ari helped communicate my birth preferences to the birth team, encouraged me in staying centered, and offered suggestions for positioning and comfort measures throughout the process. When decision making points arose, Ari was nonjudgemental and steady, helping me and my partner make choices that frlt right for us.
