I was recommended to the Birth Collective group that Sarah is a part of by two friends, and was so impressed that I didn’t interview any other doulas. I am so glad I went with them! I felt so supported throughout my pregnancy by Sarah and her counterparts, and was able to text them to ask for advice in a way that my OB could never have supported. When labor came, it was prodromal and stalled out for several days before picking up again. They talked me through it the whole time, and kept me from freaking out and going to the hospital too soon. Sarah's colleague Austin was on call for my delivery (and did great), but Sarah did some newborn lifestyle photos for us a week ish postpartum. Not only did she take amazing photos, but she also asked how I was an answered a few questions I had about postpartum. I felt so supported through my whole pregnancy and delivery, and am so glad I hired Sarah and TBC!
