I'm typing this as I hold my 2mo twins, delivered safe and sound with the help of Bree! Bree and the Birth Collective do incredible work. They are thorough, prepared, and so knowledgeable about stuff I didn't even know I didn't know. Bree attended my first birth at my home. I had my son about an hour after she got to my house (she got there so fast, I just didn't realize I was so close to having him!) so I didn't get to experience all she had to offer except birth pictures, which are a joy and a highlight of my life. This time, my water broke with my twins at 34 weeks and she was with me for about 32 hours. I've never had a hospital stay before and had planned for another home birth. Bree helped me advocate for things I didn't even know were possible, and had extensive knowledge of the providers at the hospital and what each one would be willing to do. Because of Bree (and the provider she encouraged me to see), I was able to have a fun*, beautiful, supported, empowered, and confidently educated vaginal twin birth. She even came to the NICU and took some photos of the babies there during our 22 day stay. Hiring a doula as professional and experienced as Bree is absolutely worth it. You won't regret it, whether your labor is 1 hour or 32 hours!
*The labor part was fun, the delivery was not that fun, but it was definitely empowering!
