Katie is an exceptional doula who truly made an impact on my pregnancy and birth experience! I recommend her to any expecting parents or those trying to conceive. Katie is professional while also making the experience personal and catered to you. Katie goes above and beyond with providing countless resources and support. For every question I had, she had multiple resources ready to provide for me. I feel that I had true informed consent in her care. When my birth plan went completely the opposite of what I was planning, Katie did not skip a beat. My pregnancy ended prematurely due to placenta abruption, and Katie was diligent and quick in her response to the emergency unfolding before her. She is the reason hospital staff was waiting for me outside of the hospital and got to me so quickly. Katie quite literally held my hand through the prep work and through my emergency cesarean birth and I will forever be grateful for that. For a birth where I felt everything was happening To me, Katie remained With me. Katie not only was perfect for our planned ideal birth but remained calm and knowledgeable in the face of emergency. I highly recommend hiring a doula, but to momma’s in the shoals, I especially recommend them hire Katie Terry no matter what kind of birth you plan on having or end up getting.
