Our classes with Pam have been so helpful and incredibly reassuring as we prepare for our first birth while hoping to go unmedicated. Pam has so much experience, and she really has seen so much in her time as a doula. She has the experience of having birthed her own children as well, which is helpful since she knows the feelings this first time mom can only guess at.
Her class provided us with insight to all things childbirth. Since we are aiming for unmedicated birth and avoiding a c-section as much as we are able, she helps prepare us for this by giving us all thr information needed. Never once have we felt pressured to do one thing or the other, as Pam simply lays out all the information to us to allow us to be the most educated we can be.
She also works very hard to support my husband to be able to support me in labor. Her expectation is that my husband is the one supporting and coaching me during labor and she is in the room to support him. I'm so glad we found her and have been able to learn from her. I can't wait to go through this birth with her on our team! Anyone would be lucky to work with her!
