I am so grateful Carli was part of our birth team and helped set me up for my dream birth!
I believe a huge piece of my labor going so smoothly was being able to mentally control fear (and therefore manage pain), and I attribute much of that to feeling completely confident and trusting of her expertise and experience. Specifically, throughout my pregnancy I realized that Carli has such a great reputation in the Indianapolis area (my hospital midwives, pelvic floor therapist, and chiropractor all said great things about her leading up to birth). When she arrived at the hospital the staff were all happy to see her, and when it came time to deliver she worked seamlessly with the midwives, nurses, and OB—it truly felt like they were all on the same team (team me + baby)!
I am also so grateful I ended up using the TENS unit from her, it was a pivotal tool leading to the natural birth I was hoping for. I also appreciated how she empowered my husband to support me, our experience was much more intimate because of her suggestions. Finally, immediately after birth she focused on helping our baby latch and feed during the "golden hour," which was invaluable to setting us up well for our breastfeeding journey.
Overall I was so pleased and grateful to have her and would absolutely recommend investing in her services!
