Meghan was my doula for the birth of our second child. She provided excellent support and resources before, during, and after delivery. I labored a long time at home and found that being able to text with Meghan during the process eased my anxiety significantly. I also felt comforted knowing that as soon as I asked she would be at my house quickly to help with counter pressure labor support (it was very important to me to have a hands-on doula that was confident with counter pressure techniques). Since I was coping very well I didn’t ask Meghan to join us until we were ready to leave for the hospital. She met us there promptly. I delivered extremely quickly after reaching the hospital and although there was no time for counter-pressure or other labor techniques, it was a great comfort to have someone I trusted whole-heartedly to support me physically, and emotionally, and to make sure that my birth preferences were honored when possible. Meghan also provided ample after delivery support and resources. I found Meghan to be a calm, empathetic, knowledgeable, and dedicated doula. I would highly recommend her services.
