I cannot recommend Therese enough. Having her support me through both of my births was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. With my first pregnancy, I was very anxious, but she made me feel comfortable right away. When she joined us at the hospital, I had been laboring for a long time and was only a few centimeters dilated, feeling very exhausted and overwhelmed. The moment she walked in, the entire energy of the room shifted. She brought soft lighting, electric tea lights, and uplifting affirmations, completely transforming the environment and helping me feel more grounded and safe in a moment when I really needed it. What stood out most was how in tune she was with my body. I didn’t have to say when a contraction was coming or what I needed, she just knew. The counter pressure she provided brought so much relief. My husband was doing his best, but her experience made such a difference. She also supported him in a thoughtful way that helped him feel more confident and involved. When I chose to get an epidural, she supported me with zero pressure or judgment and reminded me I was still doing an amazing job. She also captured photos and videos I will cherish forever and continued to check in postpartum, which meant so much.
There was never a question that I would hire her again for my second birth. That labor moved quickly. I labored at home for over 12 hrs. She supported me the entire time. Knowing she was there gave me so much comfort and confidence. She has been part of two of the most important days of my life. She brings a calm you can actually feel and makes you feel safe, supported, and never judged. I truly cannot imagine those experiences without her and will always be so grateful she was part of our story.
