Where do I even start… Sarah profoundly impacted my experience before, during and after birth for not just my first baby but also my recent second baby! I will remember her impact forever. Sarah supported us through two completely different births: one vaginal and one C-section. In both, she was a steady, grounding presence and I am forever grateful for her encouragement, guidance, advocacy, and knowledge. What sets her apart isn’t just her experience (which is incredibly extensive), but her intuition and how deeply she cares about the people she supports.
She is everything: coach, teacher, advocate, and a calm, steady voice. She empowered me, provided guidance when I needed it, and helped me ask or think through questions so I could make the best decision for me. She also helped my husband step into his role with confidence so we truly felt like a team. When things didn’t go according to plan, she guided us with clarity instead of fear. She never pushed an agenda…she simply made sure we felt informed, respected, and in control. One of the things (out of many!) I’m most grateful for is how she shaped my mindset. Because of her, I felt like an active participant in my births. Like I could DO it, which is what I wanted. Not like something was just happening to me. Even with a c-section, she helped me feel prepared, supported, and ultimately at peace. Sarah has a rare ability to be both deeply personable and also is incredibly skilled. You feel comfortable with her instantly, and you trust her completely.
She truly changed my birth experiences in both the moment and also in how I carry them with me now. I can’t recommend her enough and I will forever remember her impact on such memorable and life-changing moments of my life.
