From the moment we met Giulia, we knew she would be worth her weight in gold. Giulia was a phenomenal doula from start to finish. We had to relocate to Vancouver for the delivery of our child, and switching doulas was no easy task, but Giulia was the silver lining we were least expecting. Giulia was kind, patient, and had healing energy that made us feel safe and confident with choosing her. She was so supportive leading up to delivery as we navigated a new city without our support system. She was there for every question, tear, and fear. During the labour she came to the hospital so fast and was so attentive to both parents’ needs, both physically and emotionally. Her experience was so important as we had some scares during the delivery, but again Giulia was there for holistic support for the two of us. She also took key photos as our photographer became ill and Giulia stepped in to help us treasure our memories. She also took beautiful placenta prints and was essential in helping us establish breastfeeding in the hospital. Giulia has unbelievable work ethic, a wonderful personality, and overall is a great birthing support/mentor. She was absolutely priceless. We are so grateful that our circumstances led us to Giulia, and that we had the privilege of sharing our birthing journey with her. We undoubtedly recommend Giulia for doula services.
