Working Theresa an IBCLC and as a doula has been the best decision I could have ever made. I worked with her when my first son was 3 months old to help with some breastfeeding issue and some guidance as I entered into motherhood. She guided me through the initial lactation process and helped me understand some of the issues of was having. For my second son I knew I wanted her as my doula. Although I was more knowledgeable I still found that her expertise was undoubtedly needed, the knowledge and compassion she possesses is truly unmatched. During my pregnancy she supported me and made me feel confident in my strengths as a woman and mother. During the birthing process she provided techniques and knowledge that made it easier and calmer. Although I did experience strong birthing waves I was able to manage without any medication as per my request. One of the best doulas you could have on your team as you journey through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
