Working with Kristin as a doula for our first child was an absolutely seamless and incredible experience. From the moment I first met her at our meet-and-greet at a coffee shop, her calming energy and positivity were contagious. She took notes about my birth desires and plan, answered all my questions, and was wonderful with follow up communication. She remembered personal details that made me feel like more than just another client.
Leading up to the birth, Kristin was available for questions via text, call, and even did two in-person visits with us to prepare.
When I went into labor, she came to our house to allow me to labor at home as long as possible, aiding in my ability for a natural, unmedicated birth. She quickly accompanied us to the hospital and stayed many hours past the delivery, as my husband was in the NICU with our daughter.
During labor at the hospital, Kristin was a calming presence when I felt like I couldn't keep going. She reminded me to breathe, that I was stronger than my contractions, and that the only way out was through. I truly could not have managed an unmedicated birth without her support.
I would without a doubt recommend Kristin to every person that is looking for a doula. She will exceed your expectations, both on a personal and professional level. We are so grateful for her!
