She closely monitored my baby’s milestones and, just as importantly, taught me how to engage with her during wake windows so I felt confident supporting her development. That guidance alone made such a difference in those early, overwhelming weeks. She supported me through breastfeeding challenges, connected me with a lactation consultant, and even attended the session so I could focus while she cared for my baby. When I suspected mastitis on a Sunday, she didn’t hesitate to step in and help me navigate it right away. She also accompanied me to pediatrician visits, which made those appointments so much less stressful. She even troubleshooted and fixed our bottle washer when it unexpectedly decided to stop working.
