Madeline was my doula for baby #3 for an unmedicated birth at a birthing center. This ended up being a hard labor for me mentally. When I was in the trenches, Madeline was good at snapping me out a reoccurring negative mindset I kept shifting to. She gave me multiple positions to try to help dialate
She was there for every moment of my labor, she answered every call & text from me leading up to labor/ also while in labor at home. I went to the birth center from 9am-1pm and then again from 8pm- 1AM when I finally gave birth and she was there both times! I'm forever grateful for her patience with me. She gave me multiple positions to try to help dialate. I found Madeline very professional, & knowledagable. She checked on me before baby, and after baby.
she came to my postpartum appointment where I told her I was disappointed in the way I handled things mentally, and my conversation with her had me walking away with a different perspective of my birth. I'm grateful for her & that I got to work with her for my third and final baby! I also told Madeline I really wanted a birth video if possible, And she got a great one (that I just watched for the first time last week ) and is now a keepsake forever.
I also used her placenta encapsulation side of her buisness, and I think she did great! She made everything easy for me, and dropped it off at my house when she was finished.
