Glo was the absolute best choice I made for my birth plan. I’ve always had a bit of fear about giving birth. From the very beginning sessions, Glo helped us feel prepared and informed so we knew what to expect and how to best advocate for the type of experience I was hoping for. She always shared research based information to us and centered not only the health of our baby but also my health and comfort. When our baby decided to wait until 41 weeks, Glo planned a session so I could feel empowered during my induction. During my induction, she was an absolute rock! She provided so many useful tips and tricks to make my contractions and pushing more tolerable and productive. In the hospital, it can often feel like everyone is in a rush and doesn’t have the time to explain things or prioritize your preferences but Glo took the time to discuss next steps with us, give us important research based context, and was also such a calming presence. She has so much knowledge about birth and babies and when she doesn’t know she has an amazing network of people who can offer their thoughts. She’s also there for you during postpartum and was an excellent resource for the many questions that came up. She also takes Kaiser insurance so her sessions were covered. When you choose to work with Glo, it’s like picking the most knowledgeable, supportive teammate and we were so lucky to have her help on this journey!
