From a thoughtful prenatal visit, where Chana helped us understand what happens during labor, talked us through the many different choices that would be available to us during labor, and helped us craft our birth plan; through being by our side supporting and advocating for us and taking care of lots of small tasks at the hospital; and being a supportive and available voice helping guide us through the first days and weeks of our baby’s life, including a post-natal visit, Chana was there for us with tremendous expertise, a warm heart, and a cool head. We found it extremely easy to feel comfortable with Chana. If we had to pick one word to describe Chana, it would be “validating”; she really helped us feel like we were making the right decisions for us - mother, father, and baby - at each moment of this process.
