We are so fortunate to have found Jess to be our postpartum doula this past winter. We had our little one late December and Jess met us at our home the first day we got back and continued with us until just after 3 months. We have very limited support so it was very important we had someone who was there to support and educate us as we navigated a newborn for the first time. Jess filled that role and more. She provided invaluable information as we navigated all things newborn - breastfeeding help and support, bottle feeding, transitioning to formula, creating healthy sleep habits, and more. She also helped around the house with household chores (laundry, dishes, prep fruit/snacks, etc.). I think the most helpful part of having her was having someone so knowledgeable to be a sounding board to talk through things we were struggling with, things we were seeing that we weren't sure about, and navigating what was coming next. If you are looking for a postpartum doula, I would absolutely recommend Jess. We miss her already!
