It was a pleasure to have Victoria join us during my wife's labour.
Surprisingly, the frequency of my wife's contractions increased and sped up as we were just getting ready for bed and in an hour or two Victoria was ready and with us checking into the hospital. We didnt expect to be admitted that day - let alone that hour. She was able to match the energy in the room to help my wife cope and relax with the contractions. Setting up the room and coordinating the midwives and nurses took a major mental load off of me so I can focus more on my wife at the tine. Early labour took us into the early morning so we were all exhausted but Victoria made sure my wife and I were able to get some naps in so our energy levels weren't completely depleted by the time active labour showed up. I can't say enough about the long journey we went through but in summary Victoria was able to take on a large mental and physical load off my shoulders.
