Helen went above and beyond my expectations as a doula! I had an unplanned c-section with my first kiddo and was pretty nervous about giving birth to my second baby. That’s when I reached out to Helen and she was such a huge help! She gave me a lot of information about labor and even encouraged my husband and I to take a comfort technique in labor class (at which she was present as well). She gave me affirmation cards I used frequently during my pregnancy. I believe that if it wasn't for her and the grace of God, I wouldn't have had a successful VBAC! Helen was also a huge help during postpartum. She would not only take care of my newborn but also my extremely active toddler so that I'd have an opportunity to shower in peace. She read my toddler books while rocking my baby to sleep. And on top of that tackled an insane amount of house chores. She was such a huge blessing to our family, I'm so grateful to God for sending her to us. We would love to have Helen as our doula in the future if/when we have more kids!
