We had an amazing experience working with Dinora as both our birth doula and for postpartum binding. From the very beginning, she made us feel supported, informed, and cared for.
Dinora helped me accomplish my goal of an unmedicated birth—even though I needed to be induced. She supported my birth without pitocin or medication, which meant so much to me. During labor, she was a steady, calming presence, but also knew when to be direct and push me when I needed it. There were moments during transition where I truly didn’t believe I could do it, and she helped get me over the finish line.
She was incredibly intuitive, always seeming to know exactly what I needed in the moment. Whether it was a scent stick for nausea, a handheld fan, affirmation cards, or hands-on support, she came prepared with a literal backpack of tricks that made a real difference during labor.
Once we got home, I genuinely missed her care. She had such a strong ability to meet me exactly where I was, both physically and emotionally, and that level of support meant everything during such a vulnerable time.
We continued working with her for 10 sessions of postpartum care and binding, and through that experience, Dinora became family to us. I felt deeply cared for and supported in every way. The binding was also incredibly helpful for my recovery—my physical therapist told me that after a second birth, I could expect around a 2 cm abdominal separation (diastasis recti), but I only have about a 0.5 cm separation. I largely attribute that to the consistency and quality of her binding work.
