We had a wonderful experience with Rachel as our birth doula and would highly recommend! My husband and I are first time parents and are still incredibly appreciative of the resources, education, and time Rachel invested into our family pre-birth. She was very flexible with scheduling our meetings and we really felt like the time she spent with us was a priority to her. We reached out to her quite late in my pregnancy (oops), but she worked with us to still build a really strong bond with our family. I had an intense delivery, and I can’t imagine doing it without Rachel there. She traveled to a new hospital in the middle of a snowstorm to be there for us! When things took some wild turns during delivery, she gave me great confidence to keep going, and also empowered me & my partner to make the decisions we felt were right. I am also so so so thankful for her for taking photos/videos during our birth. I still look at them often and will cherish those forever. She had great ideas for coping mechanisms and helped advocate for our wishes and things I had in my birth plan. I would highly recommend working with Rachel as a birth doula!
