Words don’t do justice how highly I valued Ale’s presence, education, and support during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Her dedication and stamina is truly outstanding. She truly has a gift of supporting my husband, baby, myself, and even the cat during this vulnerable and important time. Ale knew and respected my birth plan. I had a long labor and at no point did she ever pressure me and normalized it. She was incredibly knowledgeable in using techniques to try to turn baby as he was sunny side up/OP as well as progress and tolerate labor. It was helpful that she knew how to navigate Abbott Northwestern Mother and Baby Center and worked exceptionally with the staff there. I’m extremely grateful for her presence in all the value added activity she brought to our birth. I truly can’t imagine what it would’ve been like without her (and neither could my husband he was exceptionally grateful and mentioned it over and over). She was my hero that day. She went the extra mile in so many regards. I would highly recommend hiring Ale to anyone giving birth. I also appreciated having someone so experienced to ask questions to both during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I also noticed a difference using the placenta encapsulation helping regulate my hormones during postpartum.
