My husband and I had the privilege of working with Jessie for my second and third pregnancies/births and we can’t recommend her enough. From the very beginning, she made me feel safe, heard, and fully supported.
Jessie and my family began working together during my second pregnancy. During my second birth, she supported me through intense anxiety in the OR. Her presence made a profound difference and because of her I look back on my second birth experience positively.
During my third pregnancy, Jessie went above and beyond by helping prepare our two older children for their new sibling. She included them during home visits and checked in with them postpartum, which meant so much to our whole family. She also supported my husband in being the best possible partner in the OR when hospital restrictions limited the number support people allowed to enter with me. Even though she couldn’t be in the room, her guidance made her presence felt.
In addition to our perinatal meetings and her support in the hospital, Jessie was also a valuable resource postpartum. Jessie has so much knowledge of additional support people in the area, from postpartum doulas to pelvic floor PT to online resources. She encourages you to reach out whenever needed and ensures you and your family feel supported from birth through postpartum and beyond.
