Where to begin! We were lucky enough to have Landon support us with the birth of our third baby and then join a few years later to help us welcome our fourth. As anyone knows, birth is unpredictable, and both of those births could not have been more different. Our third baby was welcomed at home and Landon was there to offer a calm and relaxed presence. Everything went really well and we were so happy to have her there with us. My fourth pregnancy was a bit more challenging due to baby's positioning. She joined us on last minute calls and visits with our birth team. She was there to support us through decisions I was too exhausted to think through on my own. She knew what to say to make me feel heard and strong enough to voice my opinions, while also holding space for my emotions. Her experience and knowledge of the pregnancy and birth community we have in the twin cities is unmatched and she gave so many amazing recommendations. When baby decided to join us, we made a last minute transfer from a homebirth to the hospital. Things were not going to way I had hoped, but her calm, confident energy really kept me grounded and at peace with everything. Her presence in the OR was crucial to me feeling at ease, despite my husband being there as well haha. She is pure magic and anyone would be lucky to have Landon join them on their birth journey. We love her so much and couldn't imagine birthing again without her.
