We were incredibly fortunate to have Teri as both our labor and postpartum doula for our first child. During labor, she was a calming and supportive presence, guiding me through painful contractions and helping my husband feel confident in how to support me. The hospital staff loved having her there because her attentiveness and care made their work so much easier.
Once we brought our baby home, she continued to amaze us with her overnight care. Our son absolutely adored her and always did great in her care, which allowed me to get some much-needed rest. She didn’t hesitate to help with practical things like washing bottles, folding baby’s laundry and dishes, which made such a difference in those early days.
She was also wonderful with our 100lb golden retriever, who immediately took to her gentle and kind nature. Seeing how well she managed both our baby and our big dog gave us complete peace of mind.
Beyond her warmth and reliability, she helped us establish a healthy routine from the very beginning—and guided us in adjusting it as our baby grew and feedings changed week by week. I was both pumping and breastfeeding, and her insight made everything so much easier.
