Riley was an incredible support throughout our entire birth journey. We were living in a different town but planning to deliver in Calgary, and she was so flexible and accommodating—doing virtual meetings with us right up until we arrived in the city.
In our prenatal sessions, she provided us with so much helpful information and really empowered both my husband and I to feel prepared and confident going into labor. One thing I especially appreciated was how intentional she was with language—she always asked about and respected our preferences, which made such a difference. The last thing you want during labor is to feel uncomfortable or “off” with your support person, and that was never the case with Riley.
She met us at the hospital on the day of delivery and was a calm, steady presence throughout. Even though things didn’t go exactly as planned, we are so grateful we had her by our side. We learned so much from her and felt truly supported every step of the way.
I would absolutely recommend Riley to anyone looking for a thoughtful, knowledgeable, and supportive doula.
