Sarah came into our lives after the birth of our first child. As a first time mom, I was overwhelmed with all the "firsts" and was so thankful to have Sarah come to support me throughout the first 6 months. Doula care is unique in that they are really their for you as the mom. Whether it's somebody to talk too about all the baby things and FTM anxiety, time to take a shower or a massage, having someone bring you a cup of tea and heat pad around your neck, somebody you can trust through the night with your newborn so you can sleep, somebody who leaves your home better then they found it, somwbody who can hold and comfort your baby when you're all "touched out", somebody who checks in with you and holds space for you ... Sarah is all these things and more. I will forever be grateful for her support - it takes a village to raise a child and Sarah is somebody you want in your comer so that you can enjoy this precious time even more and have the energy to give back to others.
