Carli was an angel! As a first time mom I was anxious about so many things. I really wanted to try to prepare to have an unmedicated birth. Carli was so helpful coming up with a birth plan and teaching us pain management techniques, I felt so prepared because of her! Unfortunately my baby was frank breach and almost 10lb which meant I had no option but a C-section. Carli was worth her weight in gold for this as well. She did an extra phone session with us to walk us through everything that would happen. She showed up to the hospital early and talked with us and then waited with my husband while they prepped me and came in with him. She sat by my head and explained when things if feel just before and gave me updates. She also held my hand while they stitched me up so my husband could go over with our baby while she was checked out. Her postpartum help was amazing also. Lactation help, answering questions and listening to me vent was so helpful. I would absolutely want Carli as my doula for any future pregnancies as well!
