Heather was with us for the first six weeks of our son's birth. He was our first. There is no one I could have wished for more than Heather. It was just a pleasure to have her as part of our family for that brief time. Too brief!
She is a special person, so knowledgeable but wears it lightly. She knows when to share and what to share, and never pushes. I learned a lot just by watching her with him and asking questions about what she was doing and why. Her energy is so calm, positive, and funny. The only thing I would have done differently is ask her to stay with us longer. We've worked with other doulas and I can tell you to consider yourself very, very lucky if you get to benefit from Heather's support and love.
