We used Rachelle as our sibling doula and post-partum doula for the birth of our second child and she was an absolute dream. As the father, assisting my wife in the homebirth process was enough of a challenge. It was beyond comforting to know that oldest daughter (2.5 years old at the time) was in Rachelle’s caring and capable hands as a sibling doula. She did a wonderful job attending to our oldest during and after the birth; which allowed my wife and I to fully meet and bond with our new baby. Our oldest daughter absolutely loved Rachelle as well. She worked with us to bring / provide new and exciting games and activities to entertain our oldest while her mother and I caught up on rest and got settled with the new baby.
Three weeks after our youngest was born, I had to deploy overseas for 9 months with my military unit. Rachelle was out post-partum doula and my wife couldn’t have been happier with her assistance. She helped around the house, cooked meals, and was an incredibly caring and helpful person for my wife to talk to. Once again, it was a massive load off my mind knowing that Rachelle was available to assist my wife and family while I was deployed.
I would 1000% recommend Rachelle to anybody and everybody. Her kindness, expertise, and caring nature make her a phenomenal member of any birth-team. In fact, we are thrilled to have secured her services for the birth of our third kiddo in late 2026.
