Grace was instrumental in my positive first-time birth experience. She put me and my husband at ease throughout labor, birth and postpartum. She innately knew when to step forward and provide hands-on and verbal support and when to fade into the background to provide encouragement from afar. Grace stepped in as a “backup” doula when my initial doula had another client go into labor at the same time. Being a first-time mom and meeting my doula in triage felt overwhelming until Grace walked into the room. She greeted us with kindness and sincere appreciation to be a part of our birth experience. Grace has a naturally peaceful yet fierce demeanor - the perfect duality for support in labor and birth. She continued providing above and beyond support for me and my new family during postpartum care. I am overwhelmingly thankful that she coincidentally ended up being my doula.
